Register to the 21st European Championship of Diplomacy

Diplomacy The 21st European Diplomacy Championship will take place during the DiploNam, in Namur (Belgium), on 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2013. For the second time, the association In Ludo Veritas will be pleased to host the EuroDipCon for their twentieth event, the twenty-fifth anniversary of their club and the twenty years of the European Championship. The convention will take place in a beautiful place on the 34 rue de la Montagne in Namur for the pleasure of everyone. There will be a bar providing drinks and food.

The 21st European Championship of Diplomacy is not a simple tournament where the only slogan could be: I want to win, I want to win. What would the game Diplomacy without all the good moments of good humor and companionship which follow to each game. That will be also a game convention with many others games available, so you can your boardgames, strategy games or favorite card games.

Meet us on Friday evening at 18:30 at the place of the convention for a party which will open the championship. You will meet the players who are coming from everywhere around the Europe. At 19:00 will start the first round of the EuroDipCon.

Saturday is the second day of the European Diplomacy Championship. Two rounds take place this Saturday, the second round from 09:45 to 14:00 and the third round from 15:00 to 19:15. Drinks and food will be available to during the whole day to give you as much energy as possible. The break will be the time to breathe, to replay 7 times the game with all the good faith that characterizes good players of Diplomacy. The third and last qualifying round, on Saturday afternoon, will be one of the big rendez-vous of the tournament, the team round. Around 19:30, we will know who have the honnour to play the top board.

Diplomacy The evening will be the time to pack the boards and knives. To spend a good night together and to enjoy Namur. If you want, you can spend an evening game to relax yourself.

On sunday morning, after another short night, the Final round will decide who will be the European Champion 2013. At 9:45, when the final round will start, the pressure will be higher. The seven best players, who have shown the best diplomatic skill, are going to measure their own strength in the unbearable suspense of the top board. The goal will be the title of 21st European champion of Diplomacy. The other players could participate in this final round to improve their ranking, which could even enable them to get a place on the podium, or simply for the pleasure of playing a good game of Diplomacy.

The Award Ceremony will take place at 14:30, the time of happiness and disappointment! But whatever happens, you will keep a good memory of that weekend in Namur.
